Quila Mubarak
Qila Mubarak, a Historical National Monument of India, forms the heart of the city of Bathinda, in Indian Punjab. It has been in existence for approximately 1900 years in its current form. Damdama Sahib
The Takht is located at village Talwandi Sabo, 28 km Southeast of Bathinda. Literally, Damdama means breathing place. Guru Gobind Singh stayed here after fighting battles against the Mughals. Before his arrival at Talwandi Sabo, two of the Guru’s younger sons, Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh, aged 9 and 7 respectively, were bricked alive by Wazir Khan,the Nawab of Sirhind

The foundation stone of this prestigious Thermal Plant comprising four units of 110 MW capacity each was laid on 19th Nov.,1969 the quincentenary year of the birth of the great Guru Nanak Dev Ji from whom it gets its present name.The project was completed in two phases at a total cost of about Rs.115 crore. The first unit was commissioned in September,1974 and the other units were subsequently commissioned in September,1975, March,1978 and in January,1979 respectively.

The Bhagwathi Mandir, Maisar Khana, Bathinda City, came into being through a rather mystique event of the past. Built by one of the devout follower, the Temple is dedicated to the Deity Bhagwathi Mata. Found in a small village called Khanna, Bhagwathi Mandir, today, is a prime attraction among the Hindu devotees.
